About this site
MyHandyKit is an independent, non-commercial site run by one person. The domain and server are paid for privately; nothing is sold, there is no membership and no forum. It is a personal record of working with software and browser tools, kept public in case it helps someone with the same problem.
What you will find here
First, the tools themselves: timestamps, JSON formatting, regular expressions, Base64 and URL encoding, colour and unit conversion, date and time maths, word counting and more — 161 in total, all usable straight away. Second, notes from building and running this site: editors and the command line, Git, static sites and Nginx, HTTPS and hosting.
How the tools work
The tools are written in browser-side JavaScript, so the calculation happens on your device and the values and text you enter never leave the page — they keep working offline. The one exception is the AI assistant and the feedback box at the bottom of each tool page: only when you actively use them are the tool name, your input and the result sent to the server, so questions can be answered and the tools improved. See the privacy notice for the details.
What this site does not do
No cracked software, key generators or licence keys. No tools or walkthroughs for bypassing restrictions, inflating traffic, bulk scraping or intrusion. No collection of names, phone numbers or ID numbers, and no selling or sharing of user data.
Contact and feedback
If a tool gives a wrong result, a page misbehaves, or you would like to suggest an extra usage note, use the feedback box or the AI assistant at the bottom of any tool page — those messages are recorded and used to improve the tools. For site-level suggestions, the feedback form is always available in the footer.
